ST. LOUIS, MO (October 24, 2019) – The Equipment Dealers Association (EDA) is proud to announce the election of their new Chairman of the Board, Ivan Dorhout. Ivan has served on the Board of Directors since 2015 and was elected Vice Chairman in 2018. Ivan is replacing Tom Rosztoczy and will serve two years as EDA’s Chairman.
Ivan is the owner of Town & Country Implement, a Case IH, New Holland and Kubota dealership with stores in Iowa. Ivan has owned the dealership since 1979 and has grown a single location with 3 employees into two locations with more than 40 employees. Ivan has previously served as the Chairman for the Iowa-Nebraska Equipment Dealers Association and currently holds a seat on their Board of Directors.
“Selecting Ivan as EDA’s next Chairman was a simple decision,” says Tom Rosztoczy, outgoing Chairman. “He is a leader within the Board, at the regional level and in his community. EDA members could not have a better advocate at the national level.”
Tom will remain on the board as Past Chair for one year. A new Vice Chair will be elected one year from now in Fall of 2020. Dan Scheuers and Jim Meinhardt will continue to serve as Treasurer and Secretary, respectively.
