Expo Director: Precision Spraying Coming to a Farm Near You!

Recently, I’ve seen a lot of autonomous vehicles, electric tractors, ag robots, and AI enhanced equipment at World Ag Expo, FIRA USA and Agritechnica. Out of all the new tech equipment, I believe the first large-scale adoption will come in precision spraying. Herbicide-resistant weeds have proliferated over the past years. Expo Director: 2023 Agritechnica Showcase Photos

With our initiative to bring new technology to both ag expos, Cindy and I traveled to Agritechnica to learn what the new trends are in agricultural equipment. Our expectations were to see much more robotics and autonomous equipment than in 2019, the last year the event was held due to Covid. We were surprised that the major manufacturers didn’t showcase this technology. One reason may be existing legislation and that European regulators have yet to approve autonomous tractors.
