What scholarships does INEDA offer, and who can apply for them?

Scholarships are available to current and potential Iowa and Nebraska equipment dealership employees. INEDA will provide matching scholarships up to $1,500 for the 2025-2026 academic year, which means if a dealer commits $1,500 in funding, INEDA will match the scholarship with $1,500, for a grand total of $3,000.

What are some of the educational resources INEDA provides to schools in both IA and NE?

In 2024, INEDA provided electrical training boards for the 4 teachers in IA and NE who attended the Ag Equipment Maintenance and Technology Curriculum training hosted by the Curriculum for Ag Science Education (CASE) Institute.

What is Career Exploration at the Iowa and Nebraska Ag Expos?

Career Exploration is an event where invitations are sent out to all of the schools in IA and NE inviting middle school through high school-aged students to attend and have guided tours with our members, with three stops at an Agriculture, Construction, and Technology booth to learn about all of the career opportunities in those fields. At the end of the guided tour, the students gather, and there are three speakers who talk to them about careers and what employers are looking for in a new hire. Lunch is provided for all who attend, and it is free admission into the Expo.

Does INEDA offer its members any yearly training or workshops?

We offer a workshop every year in both IA and NE, the last two weeks of May. The workshops each year are tailored to topics that are relevant to our members. Some of the topics over the years have been workforce, Trucking Regulations, Fraud, Human Resources, Risk Management, Inventory Management, Sales Tax, Sales Management, Cyber Security, and Economic Forecasts.

Does INEDA offer any on-site training for members?

INEDA offers forklift training at member locations for all of their employees to become and maintain their forklift certification. Forklift certifications last for three years and need to be renewed every three years.
